The make-up at the Dior fashion show was a bold statement
black lip with the rest of the face being kept very pale. There was some
mascara used on the eyelashes and a bit of black eyeliner used on the top lash
line which tied in with the lip colour. The look was very strong and made the
models look a bit unnatural as their skin was so pale and very cool in tone.
All of the outfits in the collection contained either black,
white or both and so the make-up matched the clothes well to bring the overall looks
together. Some of the outfits had bright colours in them and the contrast of
these to the black and white of the make-up and the rest of the outfits made
the colours seem even brighter.
The outfits above use black as their main colour and the styles of the dresses are very typical of Dior with a lot of high necklines and either short in length or past the knee.
